What We Collect
When you use VeyaVault, we may collect account profile information such as your name, email address, avatar, and login provider. We also collect the financial planning information you enter, including budgets, transactions, categories, savings goals, monthly income, and settings.
In future connected-account features, we may collect account metadata, balances, transactions, and holdings through a trusted account aggregation provider. VeyaVault should not collect or store raw bank usernames or passwords.
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide budgeting, goal tracking, transaction organization, account views, support, security, and product improvement. As AI features are introduced, recommendations should use the minimum financial data needed and should explain the data behind each insight.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal financial information. We may share limited data with service providers that help operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, storage, account aggregation, analytics, email, or AI infrastructure. These providers should be reviewed before production use.
Security
VeyaVault is designed to use encrypted connections, per-user data isolation, server-side handling for sensitive tokens, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure, but financial data deserves a higher bar than ordinary app data.
Your Choices
You should be able to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data. You should also be able to disconnect linked financial accounts when connected-account features are available.
